WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

What is your style?

Authentic, creative and fun! My aim is to capture the individual personalities and emotions of both you and your guests on your wedding day. I use an unobtrusive documentary – or reportage – approach throughout the day to achieve this. I also spend time alone with the bride and groom, during which I give you guidance and advice on how to look your best for the shoot. The more formal group shots are traditionally photographed.

My overall focus is on capturing natural and elegant compositions that are original and engaging. I enjoy finding or creating the perfect flattering quality of light and using my eye for precision timing to catch split second interactions and reactions that show people’s character, emotions and feelings. The end result is a collection of beautiful and striking images that tell the whole story of the day as it unfolds. It includes many details that you will want to remember – a few of which you may not have noticed on the day because you were so busy!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will you travel?
Yes. I’m based in London and the home counties but I am very happy to travel and cover both the UK and destination weddings.

Do you take formal or group shots as well as reportage?
Absolutely. I recommend that these are kept to about five or six group shots, as each may take around three minutes and any more may keep you away from your guests too long!

Do you attend the rehearsal?
Yes, ideally I like to attend the rehearsal so that I can meet your families and key people, although very occasionally this may not be possible due to the timing or the logistics.

How long after the wedding do we see the images?
Your images are usually ready to view four weeks after your wedding day.

Do we receive digital copies of the images?
Yes – all couples will receive the images on either a DVD or USB flash drive.

Who owns the copyright of the images?
The copyright of the images remains with the photographer, but you will have a royalty-free licence for non-commercial use of your wedding images. This means that you can print or send as many images as you like to your family and friends.

Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. These are an optional extra.

Who chooses the photos for the album?
You pick your favourite images.

Who designs the album?
Should you choose an album, I custom design the album as part of the service. Of course, you will be able to approve the design!

What is your fee?
The price will depend upon your requirements, which I should be pleased to discuss with you.

We would like to book you to be our photographer. What do we do next?
Once we have talked about your wedding and confirmed availability, a deposit of £350 and signed contract is required to book the date.
